FAQ's: Fiesta NMDA 2026

Registration

Online registration ends May 22. On-site registration opens May 28 at 6:30am

Do I need to register to attend the Fiesta NMDA Hybrid Event?

Yes. You will register for Fiesta NMDA similar to how you registered last year. If you’ve attended a previous NMDA event, your information will be stored in the system.

If you have not attended a previous NMDA event, email spate@nmdental.org with your name, unique email address, and the role you have in the office (hygienist, dental assistant, etc.).

I don't remember my user name. What do I do?

Your user name is your email, but you can click "Forgot Username" if you need to. If you don’t remember a password, use the "Forgot Password" link. If this is the first time you have registered for any NMDA event, click on “Nondentist? Create Account” to set up a new account. You can also email spate@nmdental.org to confirm your profile and user name.

My information is different than last year. Should I create a new profile?

No, please update your information (workplace, phone, etc) before continuing to register. Do not create a new profile unless you are a first-time registrant for an NMDA event. Please email Susan Pate (spate@nmdental.org) to request a name or email address change.

Can I register my entire office together?

You can register your entire office using the “+ Add Guest” button during the registration process. Be sure to search by email address, not name. Your dentist does not have to be the primary registrant. Since registrants will have access to the online event as well as the live event, each registrant must register using their own unique email address. It is advisable that access to that email is available 24/7 so that your team members can view the Saturday virtual courses.

I'm a dentist. How do I register?

Log in using your email address to access your profile. If you don't remember your password, click on "Forgot Password" to reset it.

Registration Rules & Guidelines

  • A dentist’s registration is not required for dental team members to register.
  • NMDA / ADA 2026 membership must be current in order to pay member prices. Team members will pay team member prices.
  • To register online, your user name is your email address (you can reset your password as needed). To add team members, click Add Guest, and search by email only (searching by name risks choosing the wrong person and will delay your registration). If your team member does not come up, contact spate@nmdental.org with their name, role in the office (DA, hygienist, dentist, etc), and their unique email address.
  • To register with a paper form, click HERE to download and print it. Please print legibly. Errors will lead to delays in processing your registration. To access the form, please visit www.nmdental.org and click on Fiesta NMDA.
  • There is no Early Bird pricing. NMDA/ADA members who purchased Conference Advantage with their 2026 membership are eligible for a discount.
  • Registration will not be processed until payment is received in full.
  • Ticketed events are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • An Attendee registered as a “Guest” (non dental spouse or child) is not eligible to receive CE credit. Dentists may only register as dentists.
  • Online registration ends on May 22. On-site registration will be available. Ticketed events will be subject to availability. Avoid the lines - register before May 22!
  • You will pick up your badge and registration materials onsite starting May 28. Badges will not be mailed out this year.
  • Badges must be worn and visible at all times. All functions require this badge for admittance.
  • Any individual transferring his/her badge to a non-registrant will have his/her badge confiscated and will be denied admission to the meeting (both in-person and online).
  • Lost or forgotten badges will only be replaced at the Registration Counter on-site. You can expect to wait in line for replacement badges.
  • No registrations will be accepted over the phone.
  • CANCELLATION/REFUND INFORMATION: Refunds requests must be emailed to spate@nmdental.org on or before May 15, 2026. Please include the attendee name, email address, refund request amount, and the payor's name. All refunds will be processed on or before June 30, 2026.

CE Credits

When do I get my CE credit?

That depends on how you attend. CE credit forms for virtual courses will be available for download after you complete the course. In-person credits will be emailed to you.

  • In-person: Scan your badge at the lecture door and/or sign in at the back of the room - that's how we know you were there. Your CE credit form will be emailed to you after the live portion of the event ends.
  • Livestream: Accelevents must record your watch time accurately (be sure to use the Device Checker!). If your recorded watch time meets the criteria for credit, you will be able to download your certificate in the CE Credits menu in the Event Lobby.
  • On-Demand (self-study): If you view the lecture after the in-person portion of the event ends, complete the course and take the “quiz” (just enter the course code given during the lecture). If you enter your answers correctly, you will be able to download your certificate in the CE Credits menu in the Event Lobby. After downloading, you must enter the date you viewed the recording. The certificate is not valid without the date viewed.

How will I get credit for the classes I take?

For in-person, you’ll scan your badge as you enter the classroom and the Accelevents platform will log your attendance. You also have the option of signing in at the back of the room as in years past.

If you attend online, the Accelevents platform automatically logs your livestream attendance. If you view a course recording, you will note the course code and answer the survey to get credit.

How do I get credit for virtual attendance?

When you log into your Accelevents account to view a livestream course, your attendance is automatically logged. If you meet the attendance threshold for CE credit, you will be able to download your CE credit form from the Lobby.

If you view an on-demand recording, you will answer a survey using the course code given during the course. Then you can download your certificate in from the Lobby.

How do I get credit if I attend in person?

Scan your badge at the entrance to the course and/or sign in at the back of the room. Your CE Credit form will be emailed to you after the in-person portion of the event ends.

Will the virtual meeting fulfill licensing and certificate requirements?

Yes. Live virtual events count as "live" CE hours. If you view the on-demand or recorded courses, they will count as self-study credits. You are responsible for knowing the Board's restrictions on the number of "self-study" hours you are allowed.

Do classes I attend via livestream (as the presentation is given) count as “live?”

Yes. Livestream or in-person attendance is considered "live" credit.

“On-demand” classes generally refers to any recorded presentations or self-study classes.

How long after the event can I watch classes?

Anyone registered for Fiesta NMDA will have access to all the recorded classes for 30 days following the end of the live portion of the meeting.

Using the Online Event Platform (Accelevents)

How do I log-in to the Accelevents event website?

After you register, watch your email for your log in credentials to come from Accelevents (please check your spam and deleted folders).  Starting on May 28, you'll use your credentials for the live portion as well as access to the recorded videos for up to 30 days after the event.

Do I need to download or install any software to be able to attend this event?

No. You only need to have access to the internet. Once the event opens and you "enter" the event, we do recommend that you click on “Device Checker” (found on the left side menu of the event hub) to make sure your connection is optimal and that your VPN/firewall won’t interfere with your viewing. eClasses can be watched, booths can be visited, and contacts made from the app or web page.

How do I log-in to Fiesta NMDA livestream on the day of the event?

Your login details will be emailed to you prior to the event. You can use the link in that email to access both the livestreamed event and to watch on-demand recordings after the event. Your credentials or “Magic Link” will expire periodically, but the email letting you know it is expired will include an option to request a new one. This only takes a moment.

Can our office watch courses together?

In order to give credit to all attendees, each attendee must log-in on their own device with their own profile. You may watch together, but only attendees who have logged in with their own profile will be able to access their CE credit certificates.

The timings of the live sessions are not convenient for me. Can I still participate in the event?

The event will remain open 24/7 for 30 days. You can attend whenever it’s convenient for you during that time.

Will I be able to take away any documents or files from the event?

Yes. Any course handouts provided by the instructor and exhibitor materials can be downloaded and saved or printed using your local device. Those that attend the meeting in-person will be encouraged to use the mobile app to access handouts.

I’m attending in person. Do I need to download the app?

Be sure to download the Accelevents app even if you’re attending in person! The most up-to-date information and schedule is found on the app along with a venue map and floorplan. You can also use it while you're there in person to connect with friends and colleagues, interact with exhibitors, and download documents. You can also personalize your profile and make it so people can find you.

Will there be exhibitors at the hybrid Fiesta NMDA?

Yes! Exhibitors will be present in the in-person exhibit area, and they will have booths online where they can chat, video conference, and more. We hope you will make a point to visit their booths and thank them for supporting Fiesta NMDA!

When should I expect to see my badge?

We are not mailing badges out this year. Pre-registered in-person attendees will pick up their badges on-site starting at 6:30am on May 28. Please allow yourself plenty of time to get your badge before classes start.

I decided at the last minute that I can't attend in person. Can I let someone else use my badge?

Badges must be worn and visible at all times on site. All functions require this badge for admittance. In addition, the QR code on your badge is used to confirm your in-person attendance and to award your live in-person CE credit.

I lost my badge! What do I do?
